Privacy Policy

PitchBridge B.V. handles personal data carefully and collects no more than needed. This page explains exactly which data we process through this website, why we do so and what rights you have.

Last updated: August 2026

1. Who we are

PitchBridge B.V. is the controller for the personal data described in this privacy policy.

2. What data we collect

The following personal data may be processed through this website:

  • Name
  • Company name
  • Email address
  • Phone number, if you choose to share it
  • The content of your message or question
  • Email address, language and the page you signed up on, plus the moment of your consent, if you subscribe to our newsletter
  • Technical data needed to serve and secure the website, such as your IP address, browser type and the time of your visit

We never ask for special categories of personal data, so please do not share those through the contact form or by email.

3. Why we process this data

  • To answer your question or message and get back to you
  • To schedule an introductory call or meeting
  • To prepare, carry out and administer a collaboration
  • To send you our newsletter with PitchBridge updates, if you signed up for it
  • To keep the website working, secure and free from misuse

4. Legal grounds

We process personal data under the GDPR, based on the following grounds:

  • Consent: you send us a message or email and ask us to get in touch, or you sign up for our newsletter.
  • Performance of a contract: data needed to prepare or carry out a collaboration.
  • Legitimate interest: answering business enquiries, maintaining client contact and securing our website.
  • Legal obligation: for example the statutory retention period for financial records.

5. How long we keep data

We keep data no longer than necessary:

  • Messages sent through the contact form or by email: up to 24 months after our last contact.
  • Client and collaboration data: for the duration of the collaboration and as long as the relationship requires.
  • Accounting and invoicing records: 7 years, as required by Dutch tax law.
  • Newsletter subscriptions: until you unsubscribe; after that we keep the unsubscribe record so we do not email you again.
  • Technical log files: up to 12 months.

6. Services used on this website

We deliberately use very few third-party services. This website does not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, the LinkedIn Insight Tag, advertising or tracking cookies, or any form of profiling.

The following services are used:

  • Hosting: the website is hosted by our hosting provider, which processes technical log files including your IP address.
  • Google Fonts: typefaces are loaded through Google, which may process your IP address.
  • Calendly: if you click 'book an intro call', you are taken to Calendly's own platform, where Calendly's privacy policy applies.
  • WhatsApp and email: if you use these buttons, the conversation continues in WhatsApp or your own email client.
  • Video: videos are served from our own environment. No YouTube or Vimeo tracking is used.

7. Cookies

This website only uses strictly necessary cookies and similar techniques required to make the site work and keep it secure. Under the law, these do not require consent. No tracking, analytics or marketing cookies are placed, which is why you will not find a cookie banner here.

If we ever introduce analytics or marketing tools, we will ask for your consent first and update this policy.

8. Sharing with others

We never sell personal data and do not share it with third parties for commercial purposes. Data is only shared with service providers that support us — such as our hosting, email, calendar and accounting partners — and only as far as necessary. Where required, data processing agreements are in place.

We may also share data when we are legally required to do so.

9. Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data. The website runs over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), access to data is limited to the people who genuinely need it, and we use secured accounts and devices. Noticed something that looks wrong? Let us know at contact@pitchbridge.nl.

10. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access the data we hold about you
  • Have incorrect or incomplete data corrected
  • Have your data deleted
  • Restrict processing
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interest
  • Receive your data in a portable format
  • Withdraw consent you gave earlier

Send your request to contact@pitchbridge.nl and we will respond within four weeks. To prevent misuse, we may ask you to clarify your request or confirm your identity.

If we cannot resolve it together, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

11. Changes

Whenever the website or the way we work changes, we update this policy. The current version is always published on this page.
